Welcome to the 39 North Agtech Travel Awards Application

Thank you for your interest in the 39 North AgTech Travel Awards.

This program supports individuals from across the greater St. Louis agtech ecosystem who are sharing their work at conferences and professional meetings. Through $500 travel reimbursements, we aim to reduce financial barriers to presenting, encourage professional growth, and increase the visibility of the innovation happening throughout our region.

Whether you're a student, researcher, technician, entrepreneur, educator, scientist, engineer, or business professional, we welcome applications from anyone whose work contributes to agriculture, plant science, food systems, or the broader agtech ecosystem.

Recipients of the award become ambassadors for the St. Louis agtech community. In return for this support, recipients will acknowledge 39 North in their presentation materials, share a brief recap of their experience after the conference or meeting, and provide photos so we can celebrate the impact of our community together.

The application should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. We look forward to learning more about you and the work you're doing to advance agriculture.

These applications are awarded on a rolling basis. Applications may be submitted in 2026, but all travel, meetings, and reimbursable expenses must occur in 2027.

Eligible Expenses
Travel Award funds may be used to reimburse reasonable, conference-related travel expenses, including airfare or other transportation, lodging, conference registration, ground transportation, mileage, and parking.

Reimbursements are intended to support standard business travel. First-class or premium travel, meals, alcohol, entertainment, personal expenses, and other non-essential upgrades are not eligible for reimbursement.

All expenses must be directly related to the approved conference or professional meeting and supported by receipts.
