The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety is an independent public inquiry by the Australian Government into aged care in Australia. During the last 2 years, the Commission was sent over 10,000 submissions, including over 6,700 telephone calls, and heard many pieces of evidence from older people, family and carers, aged care services, experts and organisations like FECCA. Some of the most common concerns were about waiting times, the quality of aged care, and loneliness. After 2 years of investigation, the Royal Commission delivered its Final Report on the 26 February 2021. You can read the Final Report here
