We invite you to submit a presentation abstract to be considered for the 2018 conference to be held at Holiday Inn By The Bay in Portland, Maine on Tuesday, February 6th and Wednesday, February 7th.  Our theme is “Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, all One Water - The need for Collaboration”. Sessions can be about specific projects, or initiatives/advancements related to the subject matter referenced below. The presentations should be a generic as possible and cannot be sales oriented.

Source of Supply - Groundwater exploration, permitting and development; source monitoring (quality and/or quantity); source management (conjunctive use of multiple sources); watershed management (e.g. forestry, recreational use).
Treatment - Surface water (conventional, pathogen inactivation, etc.); ground water (aeration, corrosion control, Fe & Mn, etc.).
Transmission/Distribution/Storage - Infrastructure repair or replacement, cleaning & lining; hydraulic modeling; project management; project inspection; etc.
Facilities Management - Buildings; fleet; equipment; computers; etc. 
Damage Prevention/Safety - Erosion control; damage prevention; traffic/excavation work zone safety; shoring; general safety topics
Human Resource Management & Supervision - Recruiting, retention, training, professional development, job descriptions, succession planning, budgeting.
Office/Customer Service - Billing, payroll, work orders, software, work process integration, etc.
Other - Technology, energy management, process control, funding, regulatory issues.


The deadline for submittal of abstracts is September 29th, 2017.  Abstracts should be 250 words or less.  Please include authors and affiliations, with the presenting author noted. Please provide contact information for the presenting author and/or primary person to contact regarding your abstract.

The New Product Technology presentations (on the Trade Show Floor at the presenters' booth) should be 30 minutes in length, including time for questions. However, those presentations can be 60 minutes if the subject matter warrants it.
The Technical & Professional presentations (on first and second floor of hotel) could be from 60 minutes to 180 minutes in length, depending on the topic and the depth/breadth thereof.
