Seniors, we need your help!

This year, caps and gowns can be obtained once you have completed two steps:

FIRST STEP:  Complete a Post-Graduation Plan.
· If you are a School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) student, you will need to see Mary Beth Stadt, who is the Career Manager within SEBA. Contact information is or 631-4118.

· If you are a School of Science (SOS) or School of Liberal Arts (SOLA) student, you will need to see a career strategist in Career and Professional Development Services (CPDS).  Contact is 631-4600 or

SECOND STEP:  Complete the First Destination Survey.
· Your plans after leaving Saint Mary's are important to our understanding of the college's work and fundamental to the college's rankings and reputation. Completing these two steps will be part of your final clearance in early May.

The information in your documented post-graduation plan and the First Destination Survey is confidential. Nothing in the survey is attributed to you personally.

Make your appointment with either Mary Beth Stadt or CPDS now!  It can take many months to find a job or get accepted into Graduate School, so don’t delay!

· If you already have a job, been accepted to graduate school, committed to volunteer work or an internship, or will be serving in the military after graduation, please drop by CPDS (in FAH 190) to get a free t-shirt and ribbon for your gown.

· If you still need support for your plan next summer, the Career and Professional Development Services department would be happy to provide guidance. They can be reached at 925/631-4600.
