This survey has been developed by RItrain, a new EU-funded project to develop management and leadership training for research infrastructures in Europe. The European Commission has recognised that professional development of managers, engineers and technicians working in research infrastructures needs to be stimulated, and we need your input to ensure that the training developed by RItrain addresses the highest training priorities for your research infrastructure.
We are gathering input from infrastructures supporting research in many different areas, and at different levels of maturity, from initial planning to operational maturity. We recognise that training needs change with time, and that they are different for distributed versus single-site infrastructures. For distributed infrastructures, training needs may vary depending on the size or the nature of each site.
The results of this survey will be used to shape a training programme that is tailored to these needs. Participants in the survey will gain early access to this training and will play a vital role in helping us to optimise it. We value your contribution and look forward to sharing the outcomes with you.
The survey should take no more than 10-15 minutes of your time to complete; questions with an asterisk require a response and it would be immensely helpful if you could spare the time to respond fully to all questions.
