Grade Sacramento County on Social Justice

100% of survey complete.
SJPC envisions a Sacramento where all political decisions are made through a social justice lens. We define social justice as a redistribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges to those who have not historically benefited from such investments so that we can all do well.
  • Basically, is Sacramento County making political decisions that help people who are most vulnerable so that they can do well? Is that a priority versus an after-thought?
  • Does Sac County consider historical injustices and make decisions to right those wrongs?
We are using this survey to grade Sac County on how well social justice values are being upheld within the community and more specifically, by elected officials. Thank you for taking it. Use this Grading Rubric for explanations on our grading scale, as well as issue area context and specifics.

Note: Sacramento County has seven cities and areas that are not cities (i.e. North Highlands, Carmichael, Arden Arcade). This survey focuses on the entire County and THEN drills down to ask about the City of Sacramento as well. We hope to include specific questions about the other cities in the County (i.e. Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova) as we get more capacity.

P.S. the only questions you have to answer are 1, 2, & 3. But we'd appreciate it if you could answer the others.
