A major outcome of the March 26 and 27 Emergency Management Degree Program Leaders Conference was agreement to work as a loosely organized network for the purpose of information sharing and resource exchange. The network is titled the Emergency Management Higher Education Network (EMHEN). Conference attendees envisioned several activities/functions for the network. ALL emergency management higher education degree program leaders have the opportunity to opt into participation in any or all aspects of EMHEN below.

* 4. Would you like to be included in future, virtual, quarterly meetings of the network? (Note: Our next meeting will be June 11 from 12-2pm CST to discuss program challenges and solutions).

I endorse the 2015 accreditation standards and am willing to demonstrate my support by inclusion of my name, my program(s) name, and the name of the institution I serve at the end of the standards document. The document will "live" on the EMHEN Google Business Drive and on the websites of any programs where leadership is allowed to populate the website.

* 6. Would you like to be included in meetings related to self-study against the 2015 accreditation standards? 

A product of the conference was agreement to individually conduct a self-study against the 2015 standards and bring evidence related to our findings to a series of three meetings (one per section of the standards) to a) present our evidence and get reactions and b) discuss the extent to which the standards need to be changed.
