Brain Monitoring - Current Concepts and Modalities

Learning Objectives:

After attending this session, participants will be able to:
  1. Describe processed EEG waveforms and parameters and their appropriate use to measure the depth of anesthesia.
  2. Assess the limitations of various methods of utilizing different brain monitoring.
  3. Judiciously select appropriate monitors for intraoperative brain function monitoring.
