MdAIR Fall 2020 Virtual Conference Offerings

Our Fall Conference will be virtual instead of in-person and our theme will be “The Numbers and the Narratives.” The conference webinars will focus on using data to tell a story -- of your institution, your students, and your work.

We will facilitate three webinars throughout the fall term on Fridays, each around 2 hours long, depending on the types of presentations. Tentative dates include September 18, October 23, and November 20. These are subject to change based on availability of presenters.

There are several different presentation formats to choose from, and we are willing to be more flexible this year than ever on the format of presentations! You may choose a typical speaker session or panel discussion (~30-60 minutes), a shorter 15 minute PowerTalk, a more interactive workshop (if possible in a virtual format), or anything else you may be interested in doing.

Virtual meeting rooms will be "hosted" by MdAIR Board Members who will assist presenters in managing technology during their webinar presentation. Presenters may share their screen to present material, or can send materials to the room host who can share material in that way.

Any questions about the proposal process, technology, or acceptable presentation formats may be submitted to: MdAIR President Natalie Crespo (ncrespo@carrollcc.edu).
