2024 Maryhill Museum Camping Trip (May 3-5)

Maryhill Trip interest survey

Please note new dates: May 3-5.

Survey to gauge member interest in a member spring camp out along the Columbia River, with group tour of Maryhill Museum, potluck meals, possibly an impromptu International Sculpture Day parade at the Maryhill Stonehenge, maybe some wine tasting on the way home. Plus other fun and shenanigans.

We would reserve the Group Campsite at Maryhill State Park. Cost will depend on how many people attend, so final cost is not available yet, but it will be very reasonable.

Camping alternative includes 2 hotel options in Biggs Junction, Oregon, one mile away. Hotel-stayers are invited to our group camp shelter for potluck breakfasts, dinners, and evening campfires. Cost will be WA State Parks "Discover" day pass.

The schedule would look something like this:

* Friday May 3 - members arrive at Group Camp, set up their lodgings & get ready for Potluck Dinner & evening Campfire.

* Saturday May 4 - Breakfast Potluck. Day at Maryhill Museum. (Hopefully a docent-led tour.) Potluck Dinner & evening Campfire.

* Sunday May 5 - International Sculpture Day! Breakfast Potluck. Possible ISD parade at Maryhill Stonehenge. Pack up & check out. Possible nearby hiking or winery visits before heading home.
