Maryland Community Action Partnership is seeking dynamic experts who will educate, inspire and motivate government and nonprofit organizations located throughout Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia during the MCAP Community Action Conference.
The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront in Ocean City, Maryland in May 11-13, 2022.
Workshop sessions will be 75 minutes long. The session can be in any format (presentations, panels, workshops, roundtables, etc.). We are seeking proposals that address the following topic areas:
Two-Generation/Whole Family Approach
Workforce Development
Addressing Barriers to service delivery
ACES/Trauma Informed Care
Diversity, equity and inclusion
Mental Health
Housing/Homelessness
Presenters that are selected will receive a complimentary one-day conference registration for the day on which their presentation is taking place. Overnight accommodations may be provided for those traveling over 100 miles one way, with prior approval from MCAP.
MCAP will provide projector, screens and flip charts (if needed), however presenters are encouraged to bring their own laptop. Conference materials will be made available to attendees via the conference app.
Presenters will be responsible for all presenter handouts and expenses they incur and will not receive any royalties, honoraria, or other compensation from MCAP in connection with the conference unless previously approved.
Presenters must attend a webinar practice session prior to the event with MCAP staff.
Deadline for submission is Friday, February 18, 2022.Notifications will be sent no later than February 25, 2022.
