Tl’azt’en Nation is starting work on a comprehensive community plan (CCP) for our community.

Community planning is an important tool to support our community in building the capacity we need to make decisions about the future of Tl’azt’en Nation. The planning process is a way for our Nation to work together to plan for our future in a way that reflects our unique needs and values. Creating a CCP will help our Nation establish a vision for our future and decide how to create and implement projects and programs to achieve our vision.

The following survey will help us start a conversation with you about the planning process.

Recently, we worked together as a community to draft and revise the Tl’azt’en Framework for Action to address serious challenging facing Tl’azt’en children, youth and adults, as well as the number of children in care. The Framework focuses on strengthening our connection to our culture, traditions, language, and people to heal our community. Youth and Elder participation were identified as very important to make sure our cultural heritage is passed down to the next generation.
