Some of the Guided Pathways goals are to connect learning to real-life experiences in order to make the content of courses more relevant and easier to understand for our students.  This can be done in many ways, as described below.

We would like to take an inventory of how campus practitioners at GCC use various forms of contextualized and experiential learning in their courses.  Even if you are NOT doing this in your classes, your response is greatly appreciated.  Our purpose is to identify areas where we can utilize these techniques to help students on their educational journey.

Here is our Request:

First, please read the brief descriptions and examples of contextualized and experiential learning on the next two pages. Second, with those definitions in mind, respond to the questions in the survey.  If you are not doing any sort of contextualized or experiential learning in your classes, please let us know as well.
