Instructions
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Gender and Energy Efficiency Baseline Survey for the project “Energy Efficiency Through the Development of Low-Carbon RAC Technologies in Trinidad and Tobago.”

This survey is part of a broader initiative led by UNDP to promote energy efficiency and reduce high-GWP refrigerants through inclusive and sustainable approaches. Your participation will help us better understand how households in Trinidad and Tobago use energy, make purchasing decisions, and experience barriers to adopting energy-efficient technologies, especially through a gender lens.

Who Can Participate
The survey is open to the general public aged 18 years and older residing in Trinidad and Tobago. Participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous unless you agree to be contacted for follow-up.

How to Complete the Survey
The survey consists of multiple-choice, scale-based, and open-ended questions across the following sections:
  • Demographics
  • Time Use
  • Awareness and Knowledge
  • Barriers to Adoption
  • Energy Efficiency Behaviours
  • Intent to Take Action
Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. Some questions allow multiple responses; others may ask you to rank or provide numeric inputs.

The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. Only one completed submission per person is allowed.

Data Use and Confidentiality
All data collected will be used solely for research and project planning purposes. Your responses will remain confidential and will not be linked to your identity unless you choose to provide your name and email address for the prize competition or future contact. The data will help shape policy and outreach efforts and support the development of a more inclusive energy governance framework.
