Information on Imports & Exports of Food post Brexit
Information on Imports & Exports of Food
When the United Kingdom becomes a Third (3rd) country, import and export certification of food products may be required. Consequently, new arrangements will have to be put in place to facilitate the importation and exportation of food by businesses in the Prepared Consumer Food (PCF) sector. In order to obtain a better understanding of the current situation with regard to food imports and exports and future requirements regarding the certification of products between Ireland and the United Kingdom, the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine (DAFM) is asking food businesses to complete the following Survey Monkey Questionnaire.
The Questionnaire below is designed to give an indication of the volume of trade between Ireland and the United Kingdom and also if your business uses Northern Ireland and/or Great Britain as land bridge for imports and exports of food.
DAFM expect that the information provided in this survey will help in drawing up post-Brexit arrangements and will be mutually beneficial to all involved. Your co-operation in this matter is very much appreciated. Please complete this short survey (approx. 5 minutes) by Friday, 31st August at 4pm.
