The recent electricity blackout and storms had a significant impact across SA including the Yorke and Mid North region.

Regional Development Yorke and Mid North have been listening to businesses and community members throughout the region who experienced hardship and a number of challenges due to the power/communication blackout.

We are endeavouring to capture these impacts and we encourage all Local Government Authorities, Businesses and Organisations to take the time to complete this survey.

South Australia's economic future requires resilience in our power and communications systems.  The information collected through this survey will be utilised to inform government and communities what might be done to mitigate future impacts of such events.  It is hoped that all issues can be addressed with possible solutions found to ensure future security of the power network.
