The mission of the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) is to bring about social and policy changes that promote opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities and their families to live, learn, work, play and worship in Georgia communities.

Every 5 years, we are required to complete a new strategic plan with the help of feedback from the public. We welcome comments and feedback on the draft Goals and Objectives that have been prepared for our Five Year State Plan (October 1, 2021 - September 30, 2026). Deadline for comments is Friday, June 4, 2021.

There are three broad goals and objectives for each goal. The goals represent GCDD's vision of what we would like to see for the lives of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. Objectives represent the areas of work GCDD will focus on to achieve the vision.

We would like to know what you think about each of them. Are these items a good fit for GCDD and Georgia as we move into the future? Please take a few minutes to share your opinions.

If you are assisting someone in filling out this survey, please make sure to answer all demographic questions as if you were the person being assisted. Please be assured that all responses are anonymous.

Thank you for taking the time to help us plan for our next 5 years of work, and we look forward to hearing from you!
