Nominations are being accepted until August 31 for the MBRT's June E. Streckfus Leadership in Education; Norman R. Augustine Leadership in Business Partnerships and Joyce K. Smith Leadership in Community Engagement Partnership awards recognizing local leaders for their contribution to the MBRT's mission.


- The June E. Streckfus Leadership in Education Award honors Ms. Streckfus, the founding Executive Director of MBRT, and recognizes education leaders bridging business-educator partnerships in Maryland.


- The Norman R. Augustine Leadership in Business Partnerships Award acknowledges Mr. Augustine, the founding Chair of the MBRT Board of Directors . The award recognizes business leaders for their significant and visionary impact on employer engagement in Maryland's education system.


- The Joyce K. Smith Leadership in Community Engagement Partnership Award recognize an individual who volunteered with MBRT during the year, contributing to the college and career readiness of countless young people's lives throughout Maryland.
