Coaching remains a vibrant part of Little Athletics and the time and effort that our coaches dedicate to the sport should be recognised and rewarded.
The State Coach of the Year aims to recognise and encourage the special qualities of coaches in junior sport and the immense impact they have on the development of our athletes.
- The award is open to coaches that have contributed at State level (e.g JDS, ALAC, Multi-class Clinics, across centres and/or regions or coach education facilitation/delivery)
- Coaches must be a fully accredited and financial with Australian Athletics and/or ATFCA.
- Hold a current WWC registration, VIT Registration or are a current sworn member of a State or Federal Police Force.
- Nominations will be accepted from individuals, Clubs, Centres, Regions or LAVic.
- Please use a separate nomination form for each nominee (no joint nominations).
Qualifying period: All stated activities and achievements must have been achieved during the qualifying period of 1st May 2025 to 30th April 2026.
Nominations to be received no later than 11:00am on Thursday 25th of June 2026
