The clubhouse accommodates a maximum of 50 people in a pleasant setting. It is airconditioned with internal and external toilet facilities. A portable gas barbecue is available at a fee. There is a recently upgraded kitchen with induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and instant boiling water.

Refrigerator space is limited - you will need to bring your own tubs and ice if you need a quantity of cold drinks.

You may choose to cater for yourself or have caterers bring-in the food you require. If you wish to cook, please bring your own dishes and utensils.

There are two large dining tables available as well as outdoor seating, two trestle tables and two large sun umbrellas.

Hirers who wish to consume alcohol need to BYO drinks and obtain a Temporary Limited Liquor Licence. The form can be down-loaded from You will also need a redline plan of our premises, which we can provide. The licence costs about $60.00. Allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

Smoking is not allowed in the building or within 5 metres of the building.

Bookings are expected to include croquet playing. Initial instruction and equipment are provided. We have suitable equipment for children aged 10+; bookings for younger children not accepted. Non-croquet bookings are not accepted.

All players (and anyone walking on the lawns) must wear flat soled shoes. If play is after dark, the court floodlights may be used until 10 pm. No food or drink is to be consumed on the courts.

Hiring is available for 4 hour blocks. Preferred times are Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm. During the week availability varies. Please check your dates well in advance.

We ask that at the end of the function you return the venue to the state it was found. The kitchen should be clean and furniture replaced where it was originally. All rubbish must be removed from premises or placed in the outside bins. We recommend the use of disposable plastic cloths on tables.

A representative of the club will open up for you and lock up after the function.

Deposits will be withheld for bookings cancelled less than a week before the event. The club may waive this if there is severe inclement weather on the day of the event.

$100 refundable deposit - this is returned after the function (usually on the day), if the premises, equipment and courts are in order, clean and undamaged.

$380 minimum per hire - covers hire of the club facilities for 4 hours and croquet instruction for up to 24 people. Additional participants to a maximum of 50 charged at $15.00 per person.

Cost for extended times and number of people are negotiable.

$50 extra if the BBQ is used (this is to cover cost of cleaning).
