Help us recognize three companies or organizations for their significant achievements and contributions to technology, manufacturing and innovation in Southern Arizona.  The deadline for nomination forms is September 16, 2016.

Instructions for Nomination Form
Here are some tips for completing the nomination form:
1. When submitting a nomination form please show clearly why the company deserves the award e.g. achieved significant innovation/technology breakthrough; made positive impact on community, product or process innovation has had demonstrable business growth potential.
2. Be thorough in filling out the nomination forms (too much information is not a bad thing).
3. Provide links to stories/articles/releases on your innovation or you can email supporting information to Tracy Sole de Hoop at tdehoop@aztechcouncil.org.
4. Brag about your innovation or company, we want to hear the awards you have won and why you won them.
5. You can nominate more than one deserving company and individual.
Award Criteria

Here is the criteria for the 2016 Southern Arizona Tech + Business Expo Awards.

Southern Arizona Technology Council Member Organization of the Year
  1. Organization is a current AZTC member.
  2. Organization has demonstrated support and alignment with AZTC's vision statement.  AZTC Vision Statement: The Arizona Technology Council is the driving force behind making Arizona the fastest growing technology hub in the nation; connecting and empowering Arizona's technology community.
  3. Must be located in Southern Arizona.
  4. The organization should show clearly why they deserve the award.  e.g. Rapidly growing technology company (sales, employee headcount, Capex expenditures); Known as recognized leader outside of Southern Arizona region; Has actively participated in and/or sponsored activities and events to help connect and empower the broader Southern Arizona tech community.
Manufacturer of the Year
  1. Company has been in business for 3 years or more.
  2. Company should be an AZTC member.*
  3. Must be located in Southern Arizona.
  4. The company should show clearly why they deserve the award.   e.g. achieved significant growth, positive impact on community, and/or release of new product or process.
Innovation Leader of the Year
  1. The company has made a significant contribution to the Southern Arizona tech community and/or significant contribution to advancing or transforming an industry sector. 
  2. Recognized technical or innovation leader in Southern Arizona. This recognition can be demonstrated by referencing articles written about the company by a third party; or by submitting a list of awards given to the company that honor the innovation.
  3. Innovation could be designed and developed by the company, but manufactured or assembled by another company or as part of a component of another product.
  4. Company should be an AZTC member.*
* Submissions from non-members will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
