Students and tutors from our creative programs and workshops are invited each year to participate in a Student & Tutor exhibition. This year, due to COVID, we’re taking the exhibition online! We invite you to participate in our 2020 exhibition, with your own artist profile and work listings on our new gallery website.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Artworks submitted will be profiled and displayed digitally on the exhibition website: www.NSCCgallery.com.
  2. Selected works may also be displayed in the windows of the Centre, this will be discussed with the artists concerned before the exhibition.
  3. Artists agree that artworks exhibited online or at the Centre are done so at their own risk. Whilst all due care is taken, the Centre takes no responsibility for any damages or loss relating to the online or physical exhibition, handling or storage of artworks at the Centre, including possible breaches of copyright by visitors to the website. No responsibility will be taken for faulty mechanisms.
  4. Photographs submitted by the artist for exhibition on the website must be:
    1. of the finished artwork
    2. JPEG file / size: 1MB or larger / landscape or portrait 3:2 ratio.
    3. Object works should be photographed in good light (preferably daylight) on a white background.
    4. Painting/Drawing/Photography works may fill the entire frame. (When photographing paintings, watch out for glare/reflections). 
    5. Received no later than 2 November 2020
  5. Dates in mid October will be available for students to bring finished artworks to the Centre to be photographed for the exhibition. These photos may be taken on a smartphone camera. (This is not a professional photography session, but this process offers some consistency for the exhibition photos).
  6. Artists agree that photographs of their works can be used for exhibition and promotional purposes by NSCC. If artists require a watermark or other copyright device on digital photographs used in the exhibition, you will need to submit your own photos.
  7. Artists may choose to sell their work through the exhibition. The Centre will retain 20% commission on all sales made while the artwork is exhibited in the Centre, and directly resulting from the exhibition.
  8. NSCC staff are responsible for processing all sales. Sold works to be picked up from NSCC office during office hours. Pick ups must be in person. NSCC will not arrange any postage/handling to buyers or artists.
  9. All work must be picked up within 1 week of exhibition end date.
  10. Artists should print and include a signed copy of the entry form details with their artwork when submitting physical work to the Centre. Please also note your Name, Title, Contact details and Price on the back of artwork.
  11. Artists may exhibit their own original artworks only.
