Introduction

Health Innovation North West Coast is the Health Innovation Network for the North West Coast, which covers Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and South Cumbria with a population of around 4.1 million.

We are commissioned to act as the innovation arm for the NHS with our support to health and life science companies key to our core commission objectives.

You may be aware that HINWC have a well established support programme called Excel In Health which provides health and life science companies who are targeting the UK health and care market with a range of workshops and master classes designed to help prepare them for effective engagement with the NHS. This programme has provided companies with support around areas such as:

  • Understanding the NHS landscape
  • Value Proposition and product positioning
  • Understanding real world validation and benefits realisation
  • Business case development
  • Guiding your Net Zero journey
  • Navigating NHS Procurement & Commissioning
  • Digital Readiness and the Digital Technology Assessment Criteria (DTAC)
