In the fall of 2019, Peel Children’s Centre (PCC) and Nexus Youth Services (NYS) announced our plan to amalgamate into a single organization with a commitment to continue to provide high quality, free and confidential mental health services for children and youth/young adults up to age 25. In December, we invited youth/young adults, parents/caregivers, staff, volunteers and other community stakeholders to help us choose a new name and tagline for our organization that clearly communicate, to current and future stakeholders, who we are, what we do, and why it matters.
We announced in early February 2020 that the new name and tagline for our amalgamating organization will be EveryMind Mental Health Services. For You, With You. We made this decision based on survey feedback from more than 600 youth/young adults, parents/caregivers, staff, volunteers and other community stakeholders. They told us that they like the name EveryMind because it is unique, inclusive, non-judgemental and destigmatizing. They also told us they like the tagline Mental Health Services. For You, With You. because it clearly and simply communicates that we provide mental health services in partnership with the children, youth/young adults and families we serve, and that they are never alone on their mental health journey. Today, as part of the final phase of our rebranding process, we invite you to review and comment on two potential creative concepts for EveryMind. In this survey you will read written descriptions of the concepts and see examples of how they could look in visual form. Your responses to a series of questions about the concepts will help us choose the right creative direction for EveryMind and we thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
