Question Title

* 1. From time to time, Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) supported by SkillsIQ will elect to form Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) to assist in gathering specialist technical information to inform a project. This may be a Case for Change or a Training Package Product development project. 

TACs are made up of people from a specific industry sector with subject matter expertise that will assist with the project at hand.

TACs usually consist of 8 members. Members may be drawn from the IRC and the general industry. Membership of a TAC is voluntary and there is no remuneration, however meeting expenses are covered, subject to the IRC travel policy. 

TACs exist only for the life of the project on which they are assigned to work. They are not ongoing or perpetual bodies. Their remit extends to the work outlined in the relevant activity order for the project to which they are assigned.
