Request for Proposals

Dear Colleagues
The Salem State University School of Nursing is pleased to offer a Request for Proposals for the Inaugural Dr. Joanne Evans Fund educational presentation in May 2022.  This RFP will be peer-reviewed per the Professional Development Committee, Chairperson, and Dean of Nursing.  Therefore, we request the following information and email to cwilliams2@salemstate.edu by March 1st.  Only one proposal will be chosen and the presenter will be notified by March 15, 2022. There is a modest honorarium
The themes we are most looking for are the following:
1.  The integration of 2022 AACN Essentials competencies into the nursing curriculum
2. Competency-Based Nursing
3. Teaching nursing students to "think like a nurse"

5.The presentation topic  and how it relates to the themes listed above; in 100 words or less
6.Your bio in 100 words or less describing your expertise in this topic

11.Thank you for your application, we will review all RFPs and make a decision by March 15, 2022.
