Survey of Owners, Operators, and Staff at Businesses and Enterprises in the Town of Erin

The Town of Erin is seeking to benefit from the experience and views of owners, operators, and staff at businesses and enterprises located in the Town of Erin with respect to the preparation of an Economic Development Plan.  This survey is directed to soliciting such input.  The Economic Development Plan will be an integrated plan containing key goals and objectives for future economic development activities, including how to best attract and retain business in the Town of Erin and what business sectors to target.

In parallel, a separate composite survey open to all residents of the Town of Erin is being undertaken as input to two other plans – a Strategic Plan and a Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan.  The Strategic Plan, covering all the principal areas of municipal responsibility, will set a long-term vision (10+ years) for the Town’s future success and include a clear vision and mission as well as defined goals, objectives and priorities that are realistic, achievable and measurable.  The Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan will be a comprehensive plan that looks at the future of recreational services and programming in the Town, the optimal configuration and planning of active and passive park spaces, and building robust cultural activity.

Inclusive stakeholder engagement is an important element in developing these plans.  As such, the views and opinions of owners, operators, and staff at businesses and enterprises located in the Town of Erin through completion of this survey questionnaire are important. The 14 questions should only take about ten (10) minutes of your time.  The responses will only be publicly shared in aggregate.

The consulting firms – the Global Investment Attraction Group and Sierra Planning and Management – are working with the Town of Erin in the development of these plans.
