Emotional Labor is the unpaid, invisible work we do to keep those around us comfortable and happy. Emotional labor is the unseen, unnoticed, unwaged, unwritten, unanticipated work – at home and in the paid workforce.  Many examples of Emotional Labor will be found throughout this survey.
