Mini grant, colossal creative professional development!

Due to the generosity of The Grable Foundation, up to 20 educators will each be awarded a $500 tuition mini grant towards a 5-day workshop at Touchstone during the 2025 season. This opportunity is available to PAEA Members, K-12 Teachers & Administrators, Out-of-School and Homeschool Educators. Awardees may still utilize other 2025 incentives; however, they may not be combined with the same workshop of which the mini grant is applied. Grants will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis throughout the 2025 season until all funds are awarded.

Question Title

* 5. MINI GRANT AGREEMENT

As part of this mini grant scholarship program, awardees must agree to complete pre- and post-program surveys that will assess educators' growth in craft skills, teaching confidence, and ability to incorporate craft-based learning into their curriculum.

Data collection will track the number of educators served, scholarship distribution, and geographic and institutional representation to ensure the program reaches a diverse range of educators. Qualitative feedback will be gathered through participant testimonials, reflections, and follow-up discussions to gauge the long-term impact of the training on classroom instruction.

Anticipated results include providing mini grant scholarships to at least 20 educators, increasing educator participation from schools and organizations with limited arts programming, and fostering sustained engagement through a professional learning community. By equipping educators with hands-on experience and a network of peers and mentors, the program is expected to expand access to high-quality craft education for students across the region, amplifying Touchstone's impact beyond our campus.
