Nomination Page 1

The Eddies!—one part roast, one part toast—is an Oscar-style celebration of advocacy gains made on behalf of students, recognizing progress, honoring difficult work, and, through a night of hearty laughter, recharging spirits and commitment.

Help decide whose work is recognized by the Network this year by nominating an advocate or organization (because we don't always know what's happening in every statehouse, you can also nominate your organization). We've heard from nominees that this type of recognition from peers is very meaningful, and it takes five minutes or less!

Advocacy work is recognized in five categories. Click here to learn more about the policy advances recognized last year, and to learn more about how winners are selected, visit our website

Below is a list of the categories and who is eligible for nomination. If you want to nominate the work of multiple organizations, please submit one nomination at a time. After completing your first nomination, you will be automatically redirected back to the beginning where you can fill out a second (or third!) nomination.

Most Actionable Research: An important resource or tool that was broadly leveraged across the Network and helped advocates make a compelling case for policy change.

Best Kept Secret: A big advance in policy (or defense of) that didn’t get big press.

Best Ensemble Cast: An especially broad reaching coalition that faced unusual obstacles to advance a significant win.

Game Changer of the Year: A PIE Network member or partner campaign that set a new precedent, offered a leading model, moved the goal line for other states, or had other national implications for advancing the work of reform.

Network MVP: (1) A team member of a PIE Network state-based member organization who has gone above and beyond to support advocates across state lines, or (2) team member of a PIE Network national partner who has been exceptionally helpful to state-based advocates above and beyond that of their job description to move an issue forward.
