1. Using Educator Guides to Teach Earth Science

In these one-day workshops teachers will explore ways to use the newly revised educator guides for the Hall of Planet Earth and the Hall of the Universe. The halls present sets of amazing objects for examining essential questions about how the Earth system and the Universe work. During the session we will look at ways to uncover student misconceptions and engage in and discuss pre, during, and post visit activities for middle and high school field trips.

This sessions will be held on June 28, July, 13 and August 6 and 13 at the American Museum of Natural History from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please rank the date you would like to attend in the survey.

A stipend of $100 will be provided to teachers who attend one of these professional development workshops.
