EYEprentice Observership Application

Are you interested in being an "Eyeprentice" for the day?

The subspecialty of cataract and refractive is an amazing field, but one that is frequently overlooked during organized medical and ophthalmic training. There is so much to learn, but making the right connections and discovering the best resources can be a challenge. This is why Eyeprentice was created — to help fill this knowledge gap and allow for networking amongst colleagues to facilitate education.

Eyeprentice (@Eyeprentice) is a team of present and past cataract/refractive surgeons at Cleveland Eye Clinic/Clear Choice Custom LASIK Center in Brecksville, OH. We are a busy private practice that sees the full gamut from routine refractive consultations to exceedingly rare pathology. Our experience has also given us the tremendous opportunity to be involved in many clinical trials and have access to the latest technologies. From medical students to residents to practicing physicians, we are often approached by people eager to visit, observe and learn. The Eyeprentice program formalizes this process and provide shadowing/apprenticeship opportunities to more people interested in learning about refractive surgery. Whether you are a resident early in training or a tenured Ophthalmologist, this experience is meant for anyone eager to learn more about cataract and refractive surgery.

Below is a list of commonly performed procedures at the practice. If you are interested in learning, sharing and or observing any of the below, then fill out the application below.
