2023 Nursery/Landscape EXPO Call for Speakers

The Nursery/Landscape EXPO is produced by the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association and this year is offering diverse ways to present education either through our in-classroom Wednesday CEU Education Day (August 9th) or on the Tradeshow floor hands-on Education Demonstrations on Thursday and Friday (August 10th & 11th) at EXPO. If you know of an expert or are the expert, share your innovative ideas and knowledge with hundreds of attendees from across Texas by submitting your topic(s) to be presented at this year's Nursery/Landscape EXPO. Wednesday CEU Education Day during EXPO will provide in-classroom topics to earn CEUs from TNLA, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Department of Agriculture, Landscape Architecture Continuing Education (LA CES), and the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). EXPO's Education Demonstrations on the show floor will include the following topic areas: Equipment Safety, Tree Action, Propagation, Irrigation Technology Troubleshooting, Retail Merchanding Tips, PLUS MORE!

EXPO's call for speakers is now open, the deadline to submit is March 20, 2023. TNLA will review your proposal and let you know if you have been selected by March 22, 2023, via email at which time speaker agreements will be provided. NOTE TNLA will provide the following: 
All speakers will be equipped with a podium, podium mic, wireless mic, remote slide changer/mouse/laser pointer, and TNLA-issued laptop computer. Please indicate any other Audio/Visual items needed by the speaker. Please note, TNLA has the right to refuse special equipment requests. (We will need to know if your slides were created on a MAC vs PC due to aspect ratios changing, TNLA’s issued laptops are PC only)

TNLA will provide a microphone and additional demonstration equipment (within reason). Indication of any Audio/Visual items needed by the speaker will need to be requested by May 24th. Please note, TNLA has the right to refuse special equipment requests but will work with the speaker to find a feasible solution.

SPEAKER CANCELLATION NOTICE:
The speaker MUST NOTIFY TNLA at least 60 days prior to the date of the event, by May 17, 2023, (the event is from August 9-11, 2023).
