Through this survey, the Delegation of the European Union to Somalia as well as the EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland representations aim to map the presence of Somali investments with connections to the European private sector, estimate their impact on the local economy and identify the obstacles and opportunities for European companies. This exercise will reinforce the EU support to the Government and other partners to improve the business climate in the country. It will also be used to strengthen Somali public-private dialogue. The results will also frame the agenda of the upcoming high-level Somali-Europe Investment, Business and Trade Forum.
