Through this survey, the EU Delegation to Somalia as well as the EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland representations aim to map the presence of European private sector investments in Somalia, estimate their impact on the local economy and identify the obstacles and opportunities for European companies. This exercise will reinforce the EU support to the Government and other partners to improve the business climate in the country. It will also be used to strengthen the public-private dialogue in Somalia. The results willa lso frame the agenda of the upcoming high-level Somalia-Europe Investment, Business and Trade Forum.
