ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, Charles City County Public Schools will receive $1,275,749.89 through Virginia’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER) award. At least 20% of these funds must address learning loss through the implementation of evidence-based interventions that respond to students’ social, emotional, and academic needs, particularly those in underrepresented groups. Funds may also be utilized to implement strategies that support a safe return to in-person learning.

All stakeholders are invited to complete this brief survey to share their feedback on how these funds should be allocated to mitigate/lessen the impact of COVID-19 on student learning and well-being. This survey will remain open from July 7-23, 2021. Email addresses are being collected for record keeping purposes.
