Hygiene Practices in Regional Anaesthesia – An International Survey

Dear friends and colleagues,

Regional anaesthesia is part of our daily clinical practice, and good hygiene is essential for patient safety. At the same time, hygiene standards and practices in regional anaesthesia vary widely across Europe. To date, there is no unified European recommendation addressing hygiene practices in regional anaesthesia.

With this survey, we would like to learn more about your local practice. We are particularly interested in the hygiene measures you apply in everyday clinical work. Your clinical experience, regardless of your ESRA membership status, is highly valuable. By collecting real-world data, we aim to identify both common ground and relevant differences across institutions and countries. These insights may help inform future ESRA recommendations.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Thank you for sharing your experience with the ESRA community!
