ESCORT RADAR – BETA TESTER PROGRAM AGREEMENT
1. Introduction and Purpose
Escort Radar ("Escort") is inviting interested members of its customer community to join a program for potential participation in future confidential beta testing of new software, firmware, and features across our range of products ("Products"). The primary objective of this program is to gather valuable feedback on the performance, stability, and usability of pre-release offerings prior to their public release. Your potential participation will directly contribute to the refinement and optimization of our Products.
2. Assumption of Risk
By expressing your interest in participating in future beta testing, you understand and agree that participating in a specific beta test could potentially lead to temporary operational issues or software instability as a result of installing and testing pre-release software or firmware. You acknowledge that any future participation in a beta program will be voluntary and with full awareness of these potential considerations. Of course, in the unlikely event of a serious issue with functionality, we will be ready and happy to assist with getting it resolved.
3. Potential Beta Tester Responsibilities and Testing Requirements
By joining this program, you acknowledge that if you are selected for a future beta test, you may be asked to actively engage in the testing process for a specified period. Your responsibilities in such a test may include, but are not limited to:
· Thorough Evaluation: Conducting comprehensive testing of the new software, firmware, or features under various real-world conditions relevant to the Product.
· Feedback on Settings: Providing detailed feedback on the usability and functionality of new or modified settings within any relevant applications and the Product's interface.
· Performance Assessment: Evaluating and reporting on the Product's performance, including but not limited to response times, effectiveness of features, and accuracy of results.
· Bug Reporting: Identifying and diligently reporting any potential bugs, anomalies, or unexpected behavior encountered during testing.
· Data Submission: Providing detailed data and observations related to your testing experiences. The more comprehensive and specific your feedback, the more valuable it will be to Escort. Specific requirements for data submission will be outlined in the invitation to each beta test.
4. Data Submission Process
If you are selected as a beta tester for a specific program, you may be provided with a unique link that links to a form on a secure online platform. This platform may be used for uploading your testing data, feedback reports, and any accompanying multimedia content (images and videos) related to your testing activities. Specific details regarding the data submission process will be provided at the time of invitation to a particular beta test.
5. Confidentiality
You acknowledge that any pre-release software, firmware, features, and any information related to them are confidential and proprietary to Escort. By joining this program, you agree that if you are invited to and participate in a specific beta test, you will maintain the confidentiality of that program and the pre-release offering. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from disclosing any information, features, performance aspects, or testing results to any third party or through any public channels (including social media) until the official public release by Escort.
