The ESP provides emergency shelter and emergency motel accommodations for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The ESP providers are eligible for reimbursement of a flat per diem rate of $12.00 per person provided emergency overnight lodging (bed night). For emergency motel providers, costs are reimbursed at a maximum rate of up to $75.00 per night.
