Racial Equity and Inclusion Congregational Survey-2025

Racial Equity and Inclusion Congregational Survey

The Theory of Change Committee (ToCC) is a committee of the Board charged with strategizing, guiding and monitoring the implementation of a vision for Racial Equity and Inclusion. At ERUUF, we define Racial Equity and Inclusion (REI) as the process of intentionally creating environments where people of all races can thrive, authentically participate, and truly belong. This vision is articulated as a Theory of Change or a visual representation of where we want to go and the progress we need to make as a congregation to get to our ultimate goal.

One of the key roles of the Theory of Change Committee (ToCC) is to monitor ERUUF's progress relative to the goals articulated in the Theory of Change. Three years ago, we asked ERUUF members and friends to complete a survey that was intended to show where we were at the time relative to REI. This survey provided the Committee with very useful information and helped guide the creation of new offerings. We are now asking all of the ERUUF community (members, friends, staff) to complete a survey again. We will use this information to assess any progress and to identify areas of future growth. The survey is anonymous, and we ask you to be honest in your responses. We need your honesty in order to do this work effectively.

The ToCC is led by Rev. Brett and includes the following members: Elizabeth Ault, Lutricia Callair, Julie Edmunds, and Lillie Searles. Please reach out to Rev. Brett or any of the Committee members at theoryofchange@eruuf.org if you have questions about the survey or this work.
