The organising committee is calling for presentations for Talking Teaching: a conference on tertiary teaching practice and research. Presentation proposals are due by 21 September 2017.

Talking Teaching will take place on 27 & 28 November 2017 at St Margaret's College in Dunedin. The conference, hosted by the Ako Aotearoa Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence, is a conference for the whole tertiary sector and will draw a diverse range of teachers from around New Zealand leading to a stimulating exchange of ideas. Dialogues among and between conference participants will lead to deeper understandings of a variety of teaching practices that inform participants' current and future practice and/or research projects. We anticipate a broad discourse, stemming from a variety of standpoints, that will enrich participants' experience.

The conference is relevant to all parts of the tertiary sector including Universities, ITPs, ITOs, ACE, PTEs and Wānanga. The committee welcomes contributors to share their unique stories on any topic concerning tertiary teaching practice or research into tertiary teaching.

Presentations are typically 20 minutes long (with 5 minutes for Q&A) but we can be flexible to allow shorter or longer presentations (up to 60 minutes) if this is what is required to give your presentation in the most appropriate manner. Please indicate on the form.
