The Patients Association is holding two focus groups to support the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in developing its safeguarding policy. The HCPC regulates 15 professions, ensuring that practitioners meet required standards of training, skills, behaviour, and health. The HCPC's primary role is to protect the public by maintaining a register of qualified professionals and investigating concerns about their fitness to practice. Its safeguarding policy is designed to protect the health, wellbeing, and human rights of children and vulnerable adults, ensuring they can live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.

We are looking to speak to patients - both adults and children (aged under 18). The focus group for adults will take place on Wednesday 27th August between 1-3:30pm.

This expression of interest form is aimed at adult patients only. If you are interested in expressing the interest of your child, or are under 18 and interested in taking part, please follow this link to go to the relevant expression of interest form for you/your child.
