Thank you for participating in this neighborhood plan survey. This survey is open to residents, property owners, and business owners in the East Martin Luther King Jr neighborhood planning area.

The survey asks you to choose which recommendations from the adopted neighborhood plan are most important in your neighborhood today. Your responses provide important input to the City’s Capital Improvement Program planning process and to annual department work programs.

CIP projects are generally major physical features (such as sidewalks, parks, equipment, etc.) that require an initial cost to build and an on-going budget to maintain. Non-CIP projects are either minor physical features or programs requiring an on-going commitment such as additional staffing. Recommendations from your plan that have been completed are excluded from the survey.

The neighborhood plan, implementation tracking chart, and map of CIP recommendations are available on the Adopted Neighborhood Plans Web page for reference. Recommendations from your plan that have been completed are excluded from the survey. You may wish to view the neighborhood plan implementation chart for detailed information regarding the status of the recommendations.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Derica Peters at (512) 974-8782 or derica.peters@austintexas.gov.
