Export LaunchPad Jordan is a project funded by the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), as well as Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The project is being implemented by the Trade Facilitation Office (TFO) Canada, in partnership with the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO).
The objective of Export Launchpad Jordan is to develop human resources in the area of international trade and to equip JEDCO and other national trade support institutions (TSIs)/business support organizations (BSOs) with the tools and capacity to deliver trade training and export-focused support services to Jordanian exporters and potential exporters. The ultimate goal is to help these businesses capitalize on the Canada-Jordan Free Trade Agreement, as well as other Canadian and international market opportunities, increase trade, and, ultimately, to contribute to sustainable economic development and employment generation.
You are invited to take part in a two-day export training program focused on the Canadian market. This training has been developed by a Canadian expert and based on the needs of businesses in the Dead Sea cosmetic and agro-processed food sectors. The training will be delivered by employees of Jordanian trade and business support organizations. Businesses that take part in this training may be eligible to attend an outbound mission to Canada (Dead Sea cosmetic sector), or an inbound buyers' mission from Canada (agro-processed food sector). Additionally, businesses that take part in this training may be eligible to receive one-on-one coaching from Canadian sector experts.
The training will take place over two days. Participants will take part in one of the following sessions. Participants from the Dead Sea cometic sector will take part in the session on July 10-11 and participants from the agro-processed food sector will take part in a session on July 14-15 or July 17-18 - all to be held at the JEDCO offices.
