ELIA Artistic Research Community Hub survey

Survey Introduction

In a challenging political and economic climate, the ELIA Artistic Research Working Group seeks to strengthen how it connects and supports ELIA member institutions and their artistic researchers, while contributing to a sustainable and collaborative research culture across the network. The ELIA Artistic Research Community Hub serves as a space for networking, knowledge-sharing, and mutual learning among ELIA members, while the Working Group provides ground-level input to ELIA's advocacy for a well-supported artistic research sector and contributes to a sustainable, collaborative research culture across the network.

This survey aims to better understand current participation patterns, needs, and priorities related to artistic research, as well as the kinds of support, exchange formats, and peer-learning opportunities that are most valuable to you in your specific institutional and national contexts.

Your responses and insights will directly inform the Working Group's future activities, strategic initiatives, and advocacy efforts—helping to identify shared challenges and opportunities, develop meaningful collaborations, and articulate the value of artistic research within academia, the arts, and society more broadly.

The survey is anonymous, and your input will directly contribute to shaping a strong, inclusive, and resilient artistic research ecosystem within ELIA and beyond in the years ahead.
