The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce invites you to nominate an individual for our 2018 Executive Leadership Institute.
Eligibility: Each year, the ELI program accepts up to 40 senior executives who hold high-level management responsibilities within a Chamber member organization. See below for more qualities of successful candidates.
Selection Process
1. The Chamber solicits and accepts online nominations from members during a rolling nomination period starting October 16 through December 1. Individuals may nominate themselves provided their organization is a Chamber member. A nomination does not guarantee selection into the cohort.
2. Once a nomination is submitted, we will invite the nominee to complete an online application during the application period between November 1 and are due by December 8.
3. A selection committee will review the application to ensure a well rounded cohort and let candidates know of decisions by January 5.
Characteristics of successful ELI candidates:
- Established executive with upwards of 15 years of management experience
- Demonstrate the motivation and potential to lead a company or business line
- Considered high performers in organization and on the executive track
- Seeks to understand external issues facing businesses today on regional, national, and global scale
- Committed to success of his or her particular sector and able to see beyond their own position to understand the influence he/she has on the company's succes
- Curious and interested in developing new relationships and open to challenging own point of view
