Nominate a Champion of Mentoring!

On January 29, 2020, MENTOR will convene leaders in the youth mentoring field at an invitation-only, Excellence in Mentoring Awards Dinner to kick off the National Mentoring Summit. At this pre-Summit dinner hosted by our Board of Directors, we will honor champions of mentoring with the annual Excellence in Mentoring Awards. This year, Excellence in Mentoring Awards will be presented in four categories:
- Lifetime Achievement: Given to an individual who has dedicated their life’s work to supporting youth through mentoring programs
- Corporate Leadership: Given to an employee from a company listed on the National Corporate Honor Roll who both volunteers their time as a youth mentor and mobilizes others to engage in the mentoring movement
- Impactful Philanthropy: Given to a foundation, company, individual philanthropist or board member who has made a significant impact on young people by investing time and funds in mentoring programs, MENTOR Affiliates or mentoring initiatives
- Public Elevation: Given to an individual who uses their influence and public platform to support mentoring opportunities for youth (i.e. a government or elected official, media representative, or other public figure)
Nominations for the Excellence in Mentoring Awards will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. EDT on October 2, 2019.
You are welcome to submit more than one nomination, but you must fill out a nomination application for each individual. Nominators and Nominees will be notified if they were selected as one of this year's honorees by mid-November.

Award winners in each category will be invited to the Excellence in Mentoring Awards Dinner with one guest and receive complimentary access to the National Mentoring Summit. MENTOR will provide accommodations at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown (one room, up to two nights) for each winner. Travel and extended accommodations are the responsibility of the winner.
