East Haddam Youth & Family Services Marijuana Questionnaire 2022

This survey will ask about your opinions on the retail sale of marijuana (cannabis) for recreational use, marijuana products, and the establishment of cultivators in our community. It is not about medical marijuana. Marijuana and marijuana products were legalized in Connecticut in July 2021 for adults 21 and older, with the following guidelines:

Possession and consumption of marijuana is legal for adults 21 years and older beginning July 1st, 2021.
Adults 21 and older may possess up to 1.5 ounces of marijuana in public, and up to 5 ounces in a locked container or at home.
As of July 2nd, 2023, adults 21 and older may grow up to 6 marijuana plants indoors.
The possession and consumption of marijuana plant matter, high potency concentrates and infused food and beverage are legal for adults 21 and over.
Marijuana use is prohibited in any place where smoking cigarettes is not allowed; additionally, it is banned in state parks, hotels and vehicles.
