Embracing Leadership. Strengthening Voice. Developing Vision.

Join us for the inaugural Empower Engagement Experience for Black Indigenous Students of Color attending public institutions in Massachusetts. The theme for this years’ experience is “Embracing Leadership. Strengthening Voice. Developing Vision.” The Empower Engagement Experience will be a unique space where BIPOC students can explore their identities, build community across the state, and advocate for their needs on campus. Participants will build a collective wisdom through shared stories and authentic conversations.

 Intended Audience: 
  • Black Indigenous Students of Color attending public colleges and universities in Massachusetts
  • Including: Community colleges, state universities, and UMass system institutions
  • Advisors/support staff of BIPOC student groups and initiatives
