Early Electrical Contractors Involvement: Benefits, Barriers, and Selection Criteria Survey

ELECTRI International is conducting a survey to identify the benefits, barriers, and selection criteria for early electrical contractor involvement (EECI) on construction projects.

This survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
For the purpose of this research, the research specifically focuses on three types of project delivery methods. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) defines Design Assist, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery methods as follows:

Design Assist: “The contractors, construction managers, trades, and suppliers suggest modifications to design elements while the design is still being developed”
Design-Build: “A project delivery method in which the owner of a project enters into a single agreement with a design-builder to perform both design and construction services. This offers a single point of responsibility for the design and construction of the project.”
Integrated Project Delivery: “A collaborative project delivery approach that utilizes the talents and insights of all project participants through all phases of design and construction.”
