2026 Early Childhood Substitute Pool for Baraga and Houghton Counties

The substitute training takes place on Thursday, September 24 at BHK Child Development Center at 700 Park Avenue, Houghton, MI. Your time will be paid with a stipend once all in-person and online training requirements are met. Upon completion of the trainings, you will be able to be a paid substitute in our local early childhood programs.
You must commit to subbing a minimum of 10 days to participate in this event. Passing of the Federal comprehensive background check is required.
